A Prayer Leadership Conference has been scheduled for Monday, July 23, the day before the 74th Church of God International General Assembly in Orlando, Florida.
According to Doug Small of Project Pray, who also serves as prayer liaison for the Church of God, the conference will begin at 8:00 a.m. at the Orlando Convention Center with registration and conclude that afternoon at 4:30 p.m. A registration fee of $50.00 will include all sessions and lunch.
Special guests include Dr. Niko Njotorahardjo, pastor of Gereja Bethel Church in Jakarta, Indonesia. The church meets at the Sentul International Convention Center. The membership is now some 250,000 members. The driving desire of Pastor Niko is to see the restoration of the tabernacle of David, 24-7 worship-laced prayer. He believes that “without a prayer tower being raised in a city, there will be no harvest.” His influence is now reaching far beyond Indonesia as he represents the idea of a pervasive, global prayer movement.
Guest speaker, Esther Ilinsky is known around the world as a member of the Global Prayer effort. Her passion is the Children’s Prayer Movement. Not just prayer ‘for’ children, but prayer ‘by’ children. Her stories of the child intercessors movement are stirring. In an age where children’s ministry has degenerated to entertainment, Esther has a message about how children are not only encountering God, but becoming powerful instruments of God in these days.
A third guest speaker will be Pierre Bynum. He serves as chaplain at the Family Research Council, a think-tank and monitoring agency for public policy issues that affect the family.
“There may be no person in America who has a better handle on the issues facing the North American church than Pierre Bynum,” Doug Small stated.
To register for the prayer leadership conference, email dougsmall@projectpray.org, or register online at www.praycorg.org.
“As a prayer leader or pastor who desires to see your church and its culture transformed, this is a must-attend event,” Doug Small stated. “You won’t want to miss this important gathering.”
