Reverend Jeffrey Wolf, Senior Pastor of the House of Restoration Worship Center in Milford, Ohio, has been appointed as Police Chaplain with the Miami Township Police Department. Chaplain Wolf has joined the staff of the Miami Township Police Department as the third member of its chaplaincy staff. He brings many years of law enforcement chaplaincy experience to the department, having served as a police chaplain in previous Church of God pastorates.
Prior to his Miami Township appointment, he served with the Portage County Sheriff’s Department , the Crawford county Sheriff’s Office, the Sidney Police Department, and the Bucyrus Police Department. “Chaplain Wolf is unique to us as a chaplain because he has also been certified as a Peace Officer in the State of Ohio”, said Miami Township Police Chief Steve Bailey. “He brings an amazing level of experience and training to this position and we are very pleased to have him as part of our police department.”
Chaplain Wolf is one of a large and growing number of Church of God ministers who serve in their local communities as law enforcement chaplains; each one formally endorsed by the Church of God Chaplains Commission through its Community Service Chaplaincy Program. These chaplains provide a vital source of strength, stability and godly counsel to the officers and staff of our country’s law enforcement agencies and to the citizens they serve and protect. They make themselves available to respond to every imaginable situation – to be there to assist the officers as well as to the unfortunate victims of crimes and accidents.
