Cleveland, TN–Some in attendance at the 2019 MIP Commissioning Celebration and 40th Anniversary held on May 17-18 said it was one of the best celebrations ever. The more than 1,300 registered attendees were blessed with anointed preaching, inspiring worship, and commissioning of the 460+ MIP candidates and spouses.

Warning: A Most Uncivil Law Is Coming

A vote in the House of Representatives could come as early as this Thursday on H.R. 5, the contentious bill that would place nearly all Christian ministries, religious organizations and faith-based companies in the crosshairs of discrimination lawsuits. The bill looks almost certain to pass in the House. Although passage in the Senate may be doubtful, the sheer audacity of this legislation should be taken as a cautionary tale.

Youth and Discipleship Preparing for Teen Talent

Church of God Youth and Discipleship is once again coordinating the popular Teen Talent competition for youth ages 13-19. International competition for 2019 will take place July 29 – August 2 on the campus of Lee University.

Firebomb Destroys Daystar’s Jerusalem Studio

The Jerusalem studio of Daystar, one of the largest Christian networks in the world, was firebombed over the weekend. The attack destroyed Daystar’s new studio, but the network plans to rebuild.
The fire began early Saturday morning when an arsonist threw a firebomb into the facility.

Unborn Babies Can’t Carry Protest Signs

Thanks to a law passed in January in the state of New York, a woman can have an abortion up until the very moment of childbirth. And when that law was passed, lawmakers threw a party by covering the World Trade Center in New York City with celebratory pink lights.
