KIDFEST MEXICO 2017 Set for November
November 15-20, 2017 will serve as a significant date and accomplishment for Church of God Kidfest. For the first time, this event, that reaches thousands of kids and leaders each year, will expand its ministry beyond the borders of the United States into Poza Rica, Vera Cruz, Mexico. Offerings given at Kidfest 2017 are making it possible to take Kidfest to Mexico this year.
The Casa Hogar Alfa y Omega Orphanage in Poza Rica, Vera Cruz, Mexico will be the host of the first international Kidfest conducted by the Church of God Youth and Discipleship Department. The newly built multi-purpose building on the campus of the orphanage will serve as the venue of this historic event.
Church of God International Youth and Discipleship has always understood the need to target those between the age of 4 and 14 and is doing everything possible to reach those within the “4/14 window.” Ministry to children has been a priority of Youth and Discipleship for many years and Kidfest has been a ministry of Youth and Discipleship since 2002. Since its beginning in Texas, Kidfest has expanded to five locations in the United States and is now bringing this influence internationally.
Special guests for Kidfest Mexico will include Chagy the Clown. Chagy is a much sought-after ministry clown with an incredible gift to bring people into an unforgettable, life-changing encounter with God. Being bi-lingual, he will be able to minister without interruption to the children. Chagy will also be involved in going into the schools in Poza Rica to minister. Remix will join the ministry team bringing high-energy, interactive and fun activities that present the gospel of Jesus Christ. Also joining the team will be Anointed, Inc. This team of drama ministers brings the gospel to life in unique and creative ways. These and other “kidmin” leaders will be part of the team that will bring the love and compassion of Jesus Christ to the schools, parks and the orphanage in the Poza Rica community.
