Interim Multi-Cultural Leadership Named
CLEVELAND, TN: With the departure of T. Wayne Dority as the Director of Multi-Cultural Ministries for the Church of God, the International Executive Committee today announced that an interim leadership team, led by a liaison from the Executive Committee, will serve to coordinate the multi-cultural outreach ministries for the denomination.
Dority has been named as the Interim Director of Publications for the Church of God Publishing House/Pathway Press, effective February 1, 2017.
“The Executive Committee and I are very appreciative of the ministry guidance that Wayne Dority brought to the Office of Multi-Cultural Ministries in a such a short period of time. He has left a strong foundation for the church and the Division of World Evangelization to build upon. Therefore, we believe that an interim leadership team, led by division liaison, Dr. J. David Stephens, Assistant General Overseer, working hand in hand with the Multi-Cultural Board of Directors, will be able to maintain the momentum already started in this vital ministry until a permanent director can be named,” stated Dr. Timothy M. Hill, General Overseer of the Church of God.
