Training Flourishes in Indonesia/Philippines

Opposition from evil spirits did not hinder Church of God missionary Hong Yang and his team when they recently ministered throughout the Philippines and Indonesia.

Jesus opened many divine doors of opportunities, with the winning of souls and making disciples ranging from mega cities to tiny villages. Also, over 500 workers were trained to share the message of Christ.

An outreach such as this is not without sacrifice, but the rewards are great. Prayer meetings began at 4:30 a.m. each day, and intensive ministry often did not finish until 10 p.m. many nights.

Inspiring testimonies told of conversions from atheism, Islam and Buddhism, of divine healing and supernatural provision and protection, of suffering, sacrifices, and successes in life and ministry. Among these were two young Filipino women who paid a high price for the Lord as missionaries in two Middle Eastern countries; followers who endured much like those in the Book of Acts as they were persecuted, yet remained passionately powerful.

Indonesia, the largest Muslim nation, is experiencing unprecedented and spectacular spiritual growth, and some regions already have a Christian majority now!

The 400-plus Indonesian village ministers exemplify Christ through their daily lives by their love for the Word of God, fervent prayers, and the total simplicity of living on $20 to $30 a month, yet doing much for the Kingdom of God.

Hong, and his wife, Esther, are thankful for your partnership in ministry, and look forward to returning to Indonesia, where a great harvest awaits.
