Million Hour Prayer Campaign for the Global Harvest
Project Pray and Director of Church of God World Missions Dr. Tim Hill, requests that every first Sunday of any month, Church of God congregations spend five minutes praying for the global harvest.

Coordinator of Church of God Prayer Ministries Douglas Small, says, “In II Chronicles 30:27, the Bible says that ‘the priests and the Levites arose and bless¬ed the people: and their voice was heard, and their prayer came up to his holy dwelling place, even unto heaven.’ What a powerful pic¬ture – that of our prayers invading heaven. God never looks from his throne, and asked, ‘Where is the smoke coming from?’ – but it is unique notion that our prayers smoke up heaven! Good smoke. Holy smoke. Sweet smoke. Non-toxic, life-breathing smoke. In Revelation, we have a similar scene, ‘And the smoke of the incense, which came with the prayers of the saints, as¬cended up before God out of the angel’s hand’ (Rev. 8:4).”
“Do you ever wonder if heaven’s altar ‘smokes’ with your prayers? Small continued. “What if you could join oth¬ers in such a massive prayer effort, your prayers combined with theirs, so that the throne-room of heaven became thick with smoke? That the incense containers held by the twenty-four el¬ders needed to be emptied – they were full of incense!”
This is the idea of Million Hour Prayer Campaign. A million hours of prayer – for one cause, one purpose, the unreached, those who have never heard. A prayer campaign that tells heaven, “We are serious about finishing the task given us 2,000 years ago. We will no longer make the death of your son, Jesus, a sweet song we sing about, while more than a billion live and die without hearing his name. We intend, by your grace God, to FINISH the great commission.”
