World Missions Launches 1plus1 Prayer Initiative
Out of the “Intercession” portion of the Church of God World Missions’ “Finish Challenge,” comes a process where individuals can join thousands of others in praying for the Global Harvest and the completion of the Great Commission.
God says: “In His name, the nations will hope” (Matthew 12:21). Also, in Psalm 2:8: “Only ask, and I will give you the nations as your inheritance, the whole earth as your possession.”
1plus1 states:
– Committing to pray one (1) additional minute a day for global harvest
– Registering your commitment
– Using 1plus1.cc prayer tools to fuel the energy and focus of your prayers
– Praying along with others to create One Million Hours of Prayer during 2015
– Challenging others to agree with you in prayer through the #1plus1 challenge

– LEARN more about the power of your prayer commitment
– JOIN thousands of other people around the world praying for souls who need to know about Jesus
– PRAY specifically for the global harvest through devotional videos and music

World Missions General Director Tim Hill asks everyone to join him in an extra minute of prayer and devotion time for the global harvest in his/her daily prayer schedule. According to Hill, if only 17 percent of the Church of God membership in North America prays an extra minute a day for a whole year, this will collectively add up to a million hours of prayer to reach lost souls throughout the world.
Hill stated, “Whatever you pray for, whoever you pray for, when you get to the end of that, just add one more minute praying for the harvest, praying for missionaries, and praying for church planting around the world.”
