Million Man Movement Still Going Strong

Many organizations dream about changing the world but few actually reach that goal, yet one Dallas-based ministry is breaking records. Over the last 36 years Christian Men’s Network has trained over 1 million men in more than 100 countries and now growth is exploding. Currently more than 350,000 men each month participate in the most popular men’s curriculum in the world. On April 18-20, at LION’S ROAR 2013, CMN invites men to summit, to strategize and synergize with world-class national and international leaders who are “majoring in men.”

“Men are looking for an authentic road to success in every area of life,” explains Paul Louis Cole, President of Christian Men’s Network. “At CMN, we provide a way for men to discover who they are in God and to learn practical ways they can love their wives, build strong children and discover the strength of purpose in their life.”

Christian Men’s Network was founded in 1977 by the late Dr. Edwin Louis Cole, called by many ‘the father of the men’s movement.” The overwhelming success is found in the men engaging a simple process. The curriculum studied in men’s groups helps build genuine relationships. The main subject of the curriculum is that “manhood and Christlikeness are synonymous.”

“As men who know the Lord, it is important to understand how to relate to our manhood,” says Dr. Jack Hayford founder of The King’s University. “I want to urge every man to come to Lion’s Roar.”

At the upcoming Lions Roar Global Men’s Summit in Dallas, Texas, April 18-20th, hosted by CMN, leaders from over 20 nations will discuss ways to help men to maximize their abilities, influence and faith.

“Christian Men’s Network is not a ministry, it’s a mentoring movement that changes lives,” states Eddy Leo, pastor of Abbalove Church in Jakarta, Indonesia. With over 240,000 members, and more than 40 men’s centers throughout Indonesia, Pastor Leo will oversee over 150,000 men this year going through “Majoring in Men” CMN curriculum.

“Today we have the grandchildren of men who attended the first classes now completing the course and being commissioned to reach more men,” explains Cole. “God has taken CMN through generation after generation of men. We have grown from humble beginnings, in a garage in Southern California 36 years ago, to a reach beyond our expectations. It is quite astounding.”
