A Special Time Together

We recently held the Church of God Eurasia Leadership Conference in Hajduszobozlo, Hungary. It was followed by services in Debrecen celebrating 10 years of the Church of God in Hungary…

We had national overseers, educational directors and Bible seminary directors, as well as several further representatives, coming from about 20 different countries of our field area. A few overseers could not attend due to health, visa or time difficulties, but most of them were able to come.

As the field director for Church of God Eurasia, I introduced each of the delegates and also the guest speaker, Dr. Fred Garmon, director of People for Care and Learning. The teachings were valuable for the brothers and sisters gathered. They also enjoyed the fellowship and interaction with each other.

Due to the mixed language group of people the conference was translated into Russian, Romanian and Hungarian. We prepared the conference materials in German and Russian languages in addition to English. Overseer Csaba and Irene Tenkely as well as missionary couple Dan and Rose Smith did a good job in making all the delegates feel most welcome and being cared for in a fine and loving way.
