Pat Robertson Recovering from Surgery
A spokesman says religious broadcaster Pat Robertson is recovering well after undergoing 10 hours of heart surgery in North Carolina.
Christian Broadcasting Network spokesman Chris Roslan said Monday Robertson is “doing great” since the Aug. 19 surgery in Pinehurst, N.C.
The 79-year-old founder of the network had the surgery after he experienced shortness of breath and weakness. He was treated for atrial fibrillation, which afflicts an estimated 5 million Americans.
Robertson was hospitalized for eight days before returning home to Virginia Beach last Thursday.
